Cooking With Flameware!

I love it!
We cooked with it all weekend at our cabin in the mountains
and found nothing objectionable.
Contrary to my original thoughts, it is rather light weight.
You know how heavy our Woven Traditions Pottery is!

Of course, first we seasoned it according to the company suggestions.

We're sure you're excited to begin using your Longaberger Flameware™ as soon as you get it!
We thought we would remind you of the seasoning process suggested before you begin using your Flameware. Please note that we will be shipping this information with each piece of Flameware and the seasoning information will be included on the Flameware Product Cards in the near future.
Before use, we recommend seasoning your new Flameware by adding one inch of whole or homogenized milk to the bottom of the pan. Simmer the milk for 5 minutes. Do not stir the milk as the proteins need to adhere to the bottom of the pan. Remove your Flameware from the heat and allow it to cool before cleaning. Seasoning your new Flameware will improve the stain resistance qualities to ensure easy clean-up after use. As an alternative to seasoning with milk, you may season your Flameware by simmering one quart of water with 1/2 cup of rice for 5 minutes. Remove your Flameware from the heat and allow it to cool before cleaning.

And now, on to cooking!

Mountain Muffins
Boil a dozen eggs in the Dutch Oven.
We did it on the grill burner outside
to maintain the cooler temps in the cabin.
When they come to a full boil,
 remove from heat and cover.
After 10 minutes, remove warm water,
replace with cool water
and peel.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
 In the 11 1/2 " Skillet,
we cooked a pound of chopped bacon.
 The eggs were then diced...
and added to a pound of cheese with the bacon.
Stir in Mayo to stick it all together.
It is baked on an English Muffin for breakfast.
YUM!
 Clean up?
Oh so easy!
We filled the skillet with water and turned on the heat.
It cleaned up quickly with a nylon scrubber and into the dishwasher!

Next?
Chicken Pot Pie
using the Dutch Oven for vegetables,
the Skillet for the chicken cream sauce,
and the Braiser for the mixture.
I added the crust on top and popped it in the oven.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my NEW Flameware!
