It was Saturday, 10AM, cold and dreary outside.
The path had been cleared through the snow
by my sweet husband, Mickey.
The coffee was freshly brewed.
The cake was sliced.
The water was hot for hot cocoa.
The candy dishes were filled.
The new product display was done,
well, as done as I do.
The cash and carry was out.
The laptop was positioned at WebExpress.
The new Wishists were ready to hand out.
The 'thank you for coming' gifts were prepared.
I was dressed, with make-up!
You know what I was thinking...
...I was panicked!
Every Open House has a panic moment.
And then, they came!
What a relief.
Eight customers and one consultant, Ann.
Thank you for coming!
My customers enjoy shopping upstairs.
My cash and carry items were nicely discounted
with a $50 guest purchase and...
there was the other incentive, too-
the Summertime Stripe Travel Mug-
only $10 with the $50 purchase!
After shopping, there was time for refreshments
and browsing the WishList
and visiting!
At 1PM, it was time for the
Longaberger Opportunity Branch Meeting!
Lynn and I made these yummy candies.
She took a few home..
I kept a few...
and we ate a few..
warm and soft and chewy... mmmmm...
It was so exciting to hand Lynn the
January High Sales Award-
$1664!
And, the door prize basket-
Red for Valentines!
